When you use WatchScanning, we may collect:

• Account info: your email and display name from Google Sign-In.
• Uploaded images: your watch photos are processed in real-time and not permanently stored on our servers.
• Usage data: anonymous stuff like page views and feature usage through Firebase Analytics.
• Payment data: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To run the watch analysis and give you results.
• To keep track of your credit balance and transactions.
• To improve the service over time.
• To send you updates or respond if you reach out.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on a few third-party services:

• Google Firebase: for login and analytics.
• Google Gemini API: for the AI analysis. Your images are sent securely and only used for that scan.
• Stripe: for payments. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Vercel: for hosting.

4. Data Retention

Your photos are processed in real-time and not permanently stored on our servers. Your account info, credit balance, and analysis history are kept on our end as long as your account exists. History is also cached locally in your browser.

5. Your Rights

Under GDPR (Norwegian and EU privacy law), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Object to or restrict processing of your data.
• Request data portability.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

We use local storage in your browser to save your analysis history and preferences. Firebase Analytics may set cookies for anonymous usage tracking. We don't use any advertising cookies.
